Audience feedback on music video

Today a group of BTEC students watched out video and gave us some feedback which was beneficial to help us know what we did and what we could have improved on. There was some positive feedback such as how we used props well such as the photo's in the music video as a effect to symbolise the relationship that the actors in the video had. Also all of the students understood the concept of the music video and thought that the choice of music suited well to the music video. Also they also liked the locations of where the lip syncing scene were shot and thought that it provided a atmosphere. They also appreciated the various editing effects that we implemented into the music video such at the split screen effect and the time lapse of the clock as the main lead lip synched towards the camera. However the suggestions that they gave for improvement was that they would have liked to seen more lip synching in the video as the song is very lyrically rich. This is something we took on board and told them that the lyrics of the song has many verses which were repetitive and so we tried to insert more scenes which tell the story of the song. In general the whole group seemed to enjoy the video.
